Married Students’ Scholarship

Description

The scholarship provides tuition assistance (not including housing, books, etc.) to married students who are pursuing theological education at The 猎奇重口 in the master鈥檚 program (M.Div., or M.A.) in the School of Theology or Billy Graham School of Missions, Evangelism and Ministry. Scholarships are awarded on an annual basis and are divided equally between Fall and Spring semesters. All scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

Qualifications

  • Married men who aspire to or are already serving as pastor in a local church, or as missionaries in an international context.
  • Married women who aspire to or are already serving as biblical counselor in a local church or parachurch organization, or as missionaries in an international context.
  • Students must be able to demonstrate financial need.
  • Students must complete the  by the appropriate deadline listed below.

  • Students must demonstrate academic, character, and leadership qualifications.
  • Students must be master’s level (M.Div. or M.A.) and be enrolled full-time (9+ paid credit hours).
  • Students must be taking courses at the Louisville campus. Online students are not eligible to apply. Students taking both on-campus and online courses are eligible for consideration if enrolled in a greater number of on-campus hours than online hours.
  • Students must maintain good standing for eligibility (2.0 GPA or above). Students on academic probation, academic warning, or disciplinary probation are not eligible.
  • Complete the Married Students’ Scholarship Application located .
    • The application includes two letters of recommendation that refer to the student鈥檚 character and leadership qualifications.
  • This scholarship excludes students in non-degree programs, Dual Enrollment Program, Bachelor’s, Seminary Track, or Doctoral degrees.
